About Pivotal HealthPivotal Health is the leading technology platform that helps healthcare providers get paid fairly in an increasingly complex reimbursement landscape.Today, many providers face persistent underpayment from health insurance companies, despite delivering high-quality care. While processes like IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) were designed to promote fairness, theyâre often administrative-heavy, time-consuming, and difficult to navigate without the right tools.Pivotal Health combines software, data, and service into a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven platform that simplifies these complex reimbursement workflows. We help providers efficiently dispute underpaid claims, reduce administrative burden, and recover the reimbursement theyâre entitled to; without adding more work to already stretched teams. Our full-service IDR solution is just the starting point. Weâre building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey.About the RolePivotal's event and conference program has grown fast. We now exhibit at 20-30 industry conferences a year (radiology, emergency medicine, anesthesiology, hospital and health systems) and run our own hosted networking dinners and internal programs on top of that. We've hit the point where executing at the level we want requires someone who owns this function. That's this role. The Events Marketing Manager will help execute the logistics and coordination infrastructure that makes our event program run. That means conference planning and execution end-to-end, booth setup, staffing schedules, vendor coordination, marketing materials, plus internal team communication and prep, post-event follow-up, cross-functional coordination with sales and leadership, and collateral needs like one-pagers, signage, and digital assets. About 60% of the work is field marketing and events; the rest is broader marketing support across a small, high-output team.If you want to be a key player in driving business demand through event programs, work directly with leadership, and own things that actually move the business. If you want a clearly scoped, tightly managed role with a lot of hand-holding, this is not the right fit. What You'll DoOwn conference logistics end-to-end. Manage full execution from commitment to post-show wrap-up: booth design, staffing, vendor coordination, materials shipping, and on-site problem-solving.Evaluate and prioritize the event calendar. Partner with the Sr. Events Marketing Manager and sales to assess which conferences and trade shows to invest in, vetting organizers on attendee count, demographics, and ICP fit before committing budget.Run internal prep and communications. Brief stakeholders, coordinate schedules, and make sure everyone knows what to bring, do, and say before they walk in the door.Build and maintain event infrastructure. Own the systems that make the programs repeatable and scalable: tracking spreadsheets, vendor rosters, budget sheets, post-event templates .Execute hosted events and field programs. Own logistics for Pivotal-run networking dinners, roundtables, and regional programming alongside the broader conference calendar.Drive integrated event marketing. Develop pre- and post-event email campaigns, LinkedIn content, and on-site assets that build awareness, drive booth traffic, and support sales follow-up. Maintain a library of evergreen copy and templates that scale across events.Produce event collateral and assets. Brief, create, or coordinate one-pagers, signage, and digital materials â working in Canva or Figma and looping in design support as needed.Pursue thought leadership opportunities. Partner with subject matter experts and leadership to identify speaking sessions, panels, and sponsored content, supporting talking points and materials development.Close the loop on every event. Coordinate post-event lead follow-up with sales, document learnings, and track ROI metrics â because events only matter if they generate pipeline. Who You Are1â3 years of experience in B2B event coordination, field marketing, or a closely related role, ideally at a start up in tech or healthcare. You've run events, not just helped with them. You've been in the weeds. You know what it feels like when the shipment doesn't arrive, the AV fails, and the booth opens in two hours. You've solved those problems and you're not afraid of them. You move without being told to. You see what needs to happen and you do it. You don't wait for someone to write you a task list.Comfortable working directly with sales and senior leadership. You can hold your own in a conversation with an enterprise AE or a VP, and you understand how events connect to a sales cycle with six-figure deal sizes.Proficient in HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform, and fluent in spreadsheets, especially budget tracking. You know your way around project management tools like Asana or Notion.Startup-oriented. You're not looking for a playbook handed to you. You're looking to build one. Extra Credit ExperiencePrior experience in B2B SaaS or healthcare/health tech. You already understand the conference landscape and the buyer.Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking event-sourced leads and pipeline attribution.Experience with Figma or Canva for creating or editing event assets without waiting on a designer. Why Youâll Love Working HereWeâre a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers. AI agents are only as useful as the data they can reach. SaaS products are only as sticky as the integrations they support. Paragon sits at the intersection of both: integration infrastructure for the companies building the next generation of software. Our platform gives product and engineering teams the primitives to connect anything, fast, without owning the infrastructure themselves. The category is forming now. We're at the front of it.About the roleThis is our first dedicated PMM hire. You'll report to the Head of Marketing and work directly with our founders, product, and sales. No PMM team to slot into, no established playbook to follow. The job is to build and hone our positioning and make it real everywhere it needs to show up: the website, the sales motion, how we launch, how we compete. If you want to build something from scratch at a company that ships fast, keep reading. We sell to two audiences: AI-native startups building integrations as table stakes, and enterprise product teams retrofitting AI into existing products. They don't read the same content, talk to the same analysts, or buy for the same reasons. Figuring out whether that's one story told two ways or two stories told in parallel is the most interesting part of this job. What you'll doOwn Paragon's messaging and positioning, from homepage copy to the pitch deck to how sales answers "how are you different from Merge?"Build a messaging framework that gives sales, content, and partnerships a shared source of truth on how we talk about ourselvesRun product launches end-to-end. You own the process and timeline, not just the blog postBuild and maintain sales enablement assets that reps actually use: decks, one-pagers, battle cards, objection handlingDevelop ICP personas for both segments: AI-native builders and enterprises reinventing as AI companiesShare the success, or failure, of Marketing campaigns with Demand GenOwn competitive intelligence across Merge, Prismatic, Composio, Workato, and others. Our competitive set spans legacy iPaaS to AI-native infrastructure. Picking which fights to pick is part of the job.Plug into product planning before code ships, not after. What we're looking for6+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, having spent time as the first or second PMM, with meaningful time in developer tools, API infrastructure, integration, or something technically adjacentYou've lived through a company repositioning or category creation, owning messaging architecture, not supported it. You can show a before/after of how you changed the way a company/product talked about itselfYour writing earns trust from technical readers. You donât need five sentences to say one thing. We'll ask for samples.Sales enablement experience that goes beyond decks. You've trained reps, sat in deal reviews, and built materials that actually got usedOwned product launches from brief to post-launch retro, including wrangling product, design, and GTM to actually hit a dateHave worked alongside DevRel and have a view on how PMM and DevRel divide the workPlease mention the word POETIC and tag RODguMTk4Ljk5LjE0Mw== when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RODguMTk4Ljk5LjE0Mw==). Weâre building solutions that enable providers to operate with clarity, control, and confidence across the reimbursement journey.About the RoleWeâre hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help build new products at Pivotal from the ground up.This role sits on the AI/ML Engineering team. Youâll work on new product surfaces that combine software, data, workflow design, and AI to solve high-value customer problems. The role is full stack, but intentionally backend-leaning. Weâre looking for someone who is comfortable owning product behavior end to end while being especially strong in APIs, backend systems, data flows, and the logic that makes great products actually work. This is a high-ambiguity, high-velocity role. You will not be handed perfectly scoped tickets or asked to maintain a mature product in a narrow lane. Youâll help shape what we build, how we build it, and how quickly we can turn ideas into valuable product experiences. The upside is massive impact: the products you work on can materially change how the company operates and how customers experience Pivotal. We also want someone who is AI-first in how they work. Part of this teamâs job is building AI-powered products, but part of it is also helping the company get dramatically better at using AI. We want a product engineer who is personally fluent with AI tools and can use them to move faster, think better, and build stronger products. What Youâll DoBuild new product experiences from 0 to 1 across backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend workflows.Design and implement backend systems that power product logic, orchestration, data access, and AI-enabled workflows.Contribute to frontend product development in React-based applications, especially where product quality depends on tight frontend-backend iteration.Work closely with product, design, operations, and AI/ML partners to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped product.Prototype quickly, then harden what works into maintainable product systems.Build internal and customer-facing workflows that use AI, structured data, and software automation to increase leverage.Help define product requirements through direct technical judgment, not just implementation after decisions are made.Improve product quality through instrumentation, testing, thoughtful system design, and strong engineering hygiene.Use AI actively in your own workflow for coding, debugging, investigation, product exploration, and iteration.Raise the teamâs velocity by bringing AI-native working habits, practical engineering judgment, and strong product instincts. What Success Looks LikeIn the first 6 to 12 months, strong outcomes in this role would include:shipping meaningful new product capabilities quicklytaking ownership of backend-heavy product surfaces with minimal oversighthelping turn vague opportunities into real shipped workflowsimproving product quality and speed through strong engineering executioncontributing to a team culture that is highly effective at using AI to build and learn fasterbecoming a trusted technical partner to product, design, and operations in a fast-moving environmentWho You AreYou are a strong product-minded software engineer who likes building things that users feel directly. You are full stack, but your center of gravity is backend systems and product logic. You are comfortable moving quickly in ambiguous environments and can make good decisions without waiting for perfect clarity. You have a high ownership mindset and like driving work from rough idea to production. You care about product quality, not just technical elegance. You are an AI power user yourself. You actively use AI in your day-to-day work and have strong judgment about how it can accelerate engineering and product development. You communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional partners. You want to be in an environment where a great engineer can have outsized impact very quickly.Weâd Be Especially Excited If You Havestrong backend experience in Python, FastAPI, or similar service-oriented systemsexperience building product backends, APIs, integrations, and data-heavy application logicexperience contributing meaningfully to modern React-based frontend applicationsexperience with TypeScript, React Router or Remix-style frameworks, and product UI developmentexperience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, or other relational data systemsexperience with GCP or similar cloud environmentsexperience building AI-powered products, internal tools, workflow software, or operational softwareexperience in fast-moving startup environments where engineers help define the product, not just implement itexperience in healthcare, fintech, logistics, or other operationally complex domainsWhy This Role Is InterestingYouâll work on new products, not just incremental maintenance. The problems are meaningful, messy, and important. They sit close to real customer and business pain.Youâll have real room to shape direction. This is a role for someone who wants to help create, not just execute. The team sits at the intersection of AI, product, data, and operations, which creates unusual leverage for strong engineers. The pace is fast, the ambiguity is real, and the impact can be massive.Youâll be able to use both sides of your skill set: deep backend engineering and pragmatic full stack product development.Example Technical EnvironmentOur current environment includes technologies like:Python and FastAPI on the backendPostgreSQL and relational data modelsReact-based web applications with modern routing and TypeScriptGCP-hosted services and internal APIsAI and workflow systems that combine application logic, structured data, and model-backed experiencesYou do not need to match this stack perfectly, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and shipping in this kind of environment. Why Youâll Love Working HereWeâre a collaborative, low-ego team on a mission to make healthcare reimbursement fairer for providers.
