ECS is seeking a QA Engineer to work remotely. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding. We are seeking a QA Engineer with a strong focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Software Quality Assurance (SW QA). This role is responsible for validating that applications meet business requirements, functional expectations, and quality standards prior to release. The ideal candidate brings a detail‑oriented mindset and a user‑centric approach to testing. Responsibilities Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure software meets business and end‑user requirements Perform software QA testing across web and application platforms Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Identify, document, track, and retest software defects Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders during testing cycles Validate fixes and ensure regression testing is completed prior to release Ensure quality standards and acceptance criteria are consistently met Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000 General Description of Benefits Qualifications Active Secret Clearance Experience with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Strong background in Software Quality Assurance (SW QA) Ability to translate business requirements into effective test cases Experience identifying and documenting defects clearly and concisely Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Effective communication skills for cross‑team collaboration
