The Junior Recruiter will operate in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment supporting the recruitment process by sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process under the guidance of Lead Recruiter and TA ManagerBuild active/passive applicant pipelines by researching/identifying candidates, building relationships with community representatives and colleges/universities, assisting with social media branding and professional networking sites and by promoting company reputation in other relevant spacesMaintain applicant tracking system Build relationships with applicants and independently assess qualifications by interviewing applicants by phone, video conferencing platforms, or in person, when possible, analyze resumes and qualifications, applicant responses, and compare qualifications to job requirementsManage candidate experience, actively develop strategic communication, requisition ownership, and hiring manager relationshipsUsing key recruitment metrics, create weekly activity reports regarding recruiting activities and needs and consistently meet or exceed weekly goals set by departmentActively contribute to recruiting meetings with Talent Acquisition, Operations and/or Corporate Leadership as well as other RecruitersImplement and represent CARD policy and represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholdersKeep industry knowledge up to date and develop new knowledge by participating in seminars, educational activities, reading professional publications, and participating in relevant professional organizationsManage other duties as assigned by Talent Acquisition leadershipREQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1-2 years of high-volume recruiting experienceEnglish proficiency, both verbal and written communication skills is a mustCollege coursework up to Bachelor’s degree preferredIndustry certification(s) from institutions such as SHRM, AIRS, The Recruiter Academy or others preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work with individuals of all levelsStrong time management skills and a process-oriented mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and handle large phone correspondences and workloadDetail-oriented, organized and can work independently and as part of a teamProficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, video conferencing platforms, applicant tracking systems, social media, and other industry related software programsAbility to make cold calls and source and evaluate talent using provided tools and templatesAbility to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentialityWORK ENVIRONMENT:Includes a typical remote office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to sit for prolonged periods of timeAbility to work on a computer throughout the majority of the day, as tasks requireAbility to use and speak on the phone or via teleconference, as needed throughout the dayClick to accessEEOC Workplace PosterClick to access IER Right to Work Poster and E-VerifyOriginally posted on Himalayas
