Job Description
Your Role As our Manufacturing Engineer of hardware development, you’ll bridge design and manufacturing - ensuring our innovations scale from prototype to production. You’ll drive Design-for-Manufacturing (DfM) early in the design cycle, collaborate closely with external manufacturers and suppliers, and continuously optimize for yield, cost, and reliability. You’ll be part of a cross-disciplinary team where mechanical, electrical, and embedded engineers co-design next-generation power electronics systems to drive the world to a net-zero energy system. Your mission Lead Design-for-Manufacturing (DfM) reviews and implement best practices from concept to release Collaborate closely with PCB manufacturers, assembly houses, and suppliers to optimize production yield, manufacturability and cost Work closely with our supply-chain department to optimize component selection for sourcing Work hand-in-hand with R&D engineers to translate lab prototypes into scalable production designs Drive failure analysis and process improvements from pilot runs to volume production Support test and validation processes to ensure production quality and consistency Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in hardware design or manufacturing engineering (startup or R&D experience are considered a plus) Strong grasp of PCB design and manufacturing processes, component tolerances, and yield optimization Familiarity with power electronics or high-voltage design is a strong plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you love to align engineers, suppliers, and production teams A proactive, hands-on mindset and eagerness to learn across disciplines Why STABL Energy?
