This position will interface directly with our clients and works closely with all departments to deliver high quality wood structures safely, on time, and on budget.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, direct, lead in the delivery of timber construction projects from award to completionAchieve safety, quality, cost and schedule objectivesDefine tasks and required resourcesPrepare and manage project budget, schedule of values, progress billing and COsCreate schedules and coordinate Company resources to meet project deliverablesUnderstand project scope and contract terms to ensure full compliancePrepare RFQ’s, evaluate bids, prepare POs and Subcontracts, set and track delivery milestonesTrack and report on project deliverablesLead quality assuranceProvide onsite construction supportPresent to management reports on progress as well as problems and solutionsManage project changes and delays to ensure that the Company is fairly compensatedAccurately estimate changes within contract requirementsEvaluate and assess results of the projectManage Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager and delegation of responsibilities, when applicableSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-taskingExcellent resource, planning, and time management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSuperior written and verbal communication skillsStrong skills in Word, Excel, Procore and MS Project (or similar scheduling software)Minimum of 3 years of construction related project management experience (required)Good command of the English languagePreferred Candidate will have:Bachelor’s degree in building science, construction management, or engineering (structural/civil focus is preferred)PMP designation or be in process to obtaining (option, but not requirement)Experience managing construction projects with values in excess of $5MSome selective travel will be required for this position, focused on the East Coast.We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth.If you are a motivated individual with a passion for construction project management, we would love to hear from you.
